Although income is generated by lesson fees, hire charges and concerts and recitals, funding is essential.  As with all educational institutions, continued support is essential if the wonderful achievements are to grow and develop.

Become a Friend of Kampala Music School

As a FKMS Friend, you will receive invitations to various concerts and events as well as newsletters with updates about the School and Charity.  We will also send you copies of our new fundraising leaflet for your distribution.

Regular Donations

Regular monthly/quarterly donations are particularly beneficial to the Charity as they allow us to plan ahead knowing that funding is in place. By setting up a standing order with your bank you can make a regular gift to Friends of Kampala Music School for however long you wish.  Please let us know you are making a regular donation by completing our Standing Order form

Legacy Giving

Memory Giving and Legacy Giving

As a registered Charity, legacy gifts to Friends of Kampala Music School are free from Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax and as such could be of benefit to the remainder of your estate. There are two important ways you can leave a gift to a Charity:

1. A pecuniary gift – when you leave a specific amount of money.

2. A pecuniary gift – when you leave a specific amount of money.

If you have already made your will, a codicil may be the answer providing a most favourable and easy procedure of adding your request to your existing will. We would advise you to consult your solicitor to advise what is best for your particular circumstance.

Some families have requested a donation to our Charity instead of floral tributes.   www.memorygiving.com lets you make an on-line donation in memory of a loved one.
